The Cosmic Connection - with Helane Baldwin -The Institute of Spiritual Integral Sciences

In the great scheme of things, if we but take the time to open our hearts and our minds, the Creator speaks and communicates with us in various ways. We have been given two worlds in which to have our Being; an inner world of spirit, mind and thought, and an outer world of sensuality, physical perception and stimulation of the five senses. And each of the seasons as they come and go, renders their own unique contribution to human unfoldment, and the gifts they bring are spiritual as well as material.

These four times of year are sacred, when tremendous spiritual energies are released and showered upon the planet with blessings. And great artists, poets, authors and musicians are aware of these times, took advantage and brought forth some of the world's great compositions and masterpieces. And they were confident that these energies at their strongest peak, were not only on the given date, but extended two days prior and two days afterwards.

The Ancients observed four great festivals during the year, and when adopted into Christianity, they became in their own outer aspect, the chief religious festivals of the church, with Archangels governing each of the four seasons as follows:

The Winter Solstice on December 21st is under the guidance of

Archangel Gabriel heralding in the birth of Jesus the Christ.

The Spring Equinox on March 20th under the guidance of Archangel Rapael,

having to do with the Easter Celebration; the Crucifixion and in Celebration of

the Resurrected Christ.

The Summer Solstice on June 21st is under the guidance of Archangel

Uriel. It is a time when all of nature displays its beauty. And it is the highest

spiritual time of the year; the time of the Ascension, when Christ proclaimed,

"I and my Father are One.

The Autumn Equinox of Sept. 23rd, is the time of the Michaelmass or

The Feast of St. Michael the Archangel.

However, on the inner planes, this is also the time of the Harvesting of the Soul,

and if found worthy; under the guidance of St. Michael,

Ambassador to the Christ Spirit, is led to the Holy Ceremony

that takes place on Christmas Eve, to partake of the sacred process associated

with the Birthing of the Christ Seed within.

And since mentioning the Archangels in such a manner, its important to remind you that in God's Creation, this includes the Kingdoms of the Mineral, Vegetable, Animal, Human, as well as the Angelic Kingdoms that are headed by Masters or Archangels. And this extends further to include the Kingdoms of leprechauns, sprites, fairies and gnomes. And do I know of anyone who has seen them? Yes, including me....not too often, and sometimes thankful for that...but I have seen them, as well as countless others.

And now more about the subject of angels, who are not a modern invention, as they come out of the pages in the Holy Bible's Book of Exodus, with winged cherubim carved on the Ark of the Covenant, and in the Book of Isaiah, the prophet sees a powerful winged seraphim singing before the throne of God. A choir of Angels sings in celebration of the birth of Jesus....and later on in the Garden of Gethsemane, an angel comes to comfort Jesus himself.

But in looking around, angels are seen just about everywhere these days, in shops, on paintings, wall paper, greeting cards, porcelain figures, children’s toys, so if by now you don't believe in Angels, perhaps its time to get in step with the parade as it just may pass you by.

And it seems that the subject of Angels has also hit the mainstream of the Hollywood filming industry, as their films have given us a variety of angel personalities, from Oddbody's "It's a Wonderful Life" to John Travolta's beer drinking angel in "Michael", and in T.V. shows "Touched by an Angel" and "Highway to Heaven" with the late Michael Landon....all known by their innate serenity and timeless good will. So is God trying to tell us something through those in the filming industry?

So now that the subject of angels being among us is being seriously considered, lets return to the "now" and tell you more about the period of the Spring Equinox that is almost upon us. And as mentioned previously, it is under the guidance of Archangel Raphael, who sometimes is referred to as being the Angel of the Holy Grail.

And sometimes I have wondered about this coincidence (accidentally on purpose?) that the great Master Musician of the Musical Ray, Richard Wagner, wrote his masterpiece, "Parcifal" who was in search of the Holy Grail, in which he depicted the radiance of the resurrected spirit of the Musical Illuminati. And the colors of this Equinox are a combination of reddish-orange (activity) and bright yellow (mental activity, higher mind).

It is also a time when all roots and bulbs that have been laying dormant during the winter months, begin to awaken with an upward ascent, symbolic of the promise of the resurrected life. And those of you who are knowledgeable about the seven Chakras; this season is associated with the two top Chakras, the Pineal and Pituitary; the feminine and the masculine , and being linked or in Divine Marriage,

opens the Crown into Spiritual Enlightenment or Nirvana, and is a very powerful time of year. So if you are planning some type of energetic and mentally creative project, this time would be excellent for successfully carrying out your plans.

But since so many of the classical musicians of those times were also part of the Musical Illuminati, in some future issue, I plan to tell you a little about their most interesting lives, explain some of their great musical masterpieces, as well as their spiritual missions, of which they were very well aware.

So as the wheel of the Universe turns, we are being influenced by a time for planting, a time for growth, a time for harvesting and of enjoying your fruits with one another. For as each of the seasons as they come and go, renders their own unique contribution to human unfoldment, and the gifts they bring are both spiritual as well as material....and want to add that this is also a time to start sensing Angels

by your side!

As perhaps some of you may find this title strangely familiar; and yes, it had been a radio talk show aired out of Radio Station WNN-AM 980 in Boca Raton during the latter part of this past Century, sponsored by the now dormant "Roundtable at the Light Centers". Initially, the general format will be the same; that of providing up-dated information

pertaining to spirituality, metaphysics, holistic and complementary methods of healing and wellness, and on occasion it will feature guest authors, and continue to encourage comments, but from our web-site audience, via phone calls, emails,

or even our old faithful U.S. Post Office.

And since we are now entering a very special season and Easter Holiday;

in keeping with the theme, our subject in this first presentation is not only

about the significance of the changing four sacred seasons, which has been

known and proclaimed for many centuries by the Masters, but also about

God's Angels who are believed to be living among us.
